Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor Roderick
G.W. Chu was the luncheon speaker on Oct. 24. Chu added a distinct Ohio
perspective and philosophy to the distance learning discussion. Attendees
at the conference were distance learning directors from schools, higher
education institutions, and community organizations, faculty, instructional
designers, chief information officers, video specialists, continuing education
deans, provosts, campus technology coordinators and others interested in
delivering and receiving courses, programs, or degrees at a distance or
using technology in the classroom.
There was an interactive showcase of campus
distance learning projects and an expanded Vendor Fair.
