POD has wonderful resources, including an annual conference, Journal, reading

is an affiliate of the American Association of Community Colleges.

Helping others Teach Online
WGBH Boston and the League for Innovation in the Community College created
developed and recently released
Getting Results:
6 modules that provide faculty members excellent strategies for deepening
teaching and learning.
The modules focus on the teaching of science, technology, engineering, and
mathematics, specifically in Advanced Technology Education classrooms.
Modules are: Creating A Community of Learners, Planning for Outcomes, Active
Teaching and Learning, Moving Beyond the Classroom, Teaching with Technology, and
Assessing Teaching and Learning.
The videos accompanying the modules include real teachers and students in real
classroom settings across the country, representing a range of fields,
institutions, programs, and subject areas.
Through a PT3 Grant awarded to the Ohio Board of Regents (catalyst OHIO),
a number of Ohio faculty from a variety of institutions created the
Teaching Online module.
It's a very helpful resource, especially for self-paced learning.
